Camping at Beehive Woodland Lakes

A Pitch To Suit Everyone.

Touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents are welcome at The Beehive's attractively landscaped woodland site.

With a selection of full hard standings, hard standing onto grass, grass with electric hook-up or grass without electric hook-up we are bound to have exactly what you need.  The electric pitches do book up quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.

The electric hook up pitches in our family camping area The Glade, are mixture of 10amp and 6amp's.  Pitches E - T are 10amp, Pitches 32 - 47 are 6amp (1300 watts maximum load).  You will need to bring travel appliances as household kettles etc will trip the electrics.

Non hook up pitches number 11 - 31 ( Main Glade) and 48 - 64 (Lower Glade)

The electric hook up pitches in The Paddocks our adult only area (strictly no children between the ages of 2yrs and 17yrs) are all 10amp

All our pitches are spacious, so if you require electric, you'll need approximately 25 metre long hook-up cables.

Our tariffs are as follows:-

Electric hook-up pitch £35:00 per night
Non electric pitch £28:00 per night

Lighting on our campsite is kept to minimum, not only to aid people to getting a good night’s sleep, but so you can enjoy our beautiful night skies too - so don't forget to bring a torch!

AA INSPECTION REPORT

A really positive initial impression on arrival which was upheld on inspecting the site.  A neat and tidy approach along a well-maintained, short drive to the park was noted.  The key-pad operated gates to the pitches were seen and these create a strong sense of security for the property.  It was noted that CCTV was also in use; a seperate entrance was available for fishing facilities.  The reception building was smartly presented - inside and out - as well as being clearly signed to aid the guest.

The pitches themselves have been well-thought out to create both hard-standing and grass areas as well as a central, dedicated area for playing on; all were very well maitained and smart, as were the roadways.  Planting throughout was mature and strengthened the feel of quality; the lakes and woods creating both fishing and wild walk options.

The facilities block was fresh smelling and spotlessly clean with a high standard of maintenance evident.  The new washing machine and tumble drier that have recently been installed in to the laundry room have improved the quality provision for the guest and this area was also cleaned to a high standard.  A useful and well stocked information point was provided in the reception as well as a small shop with basic provisions and toys for children.

Following this inspection, I can confirm the AA 4 Pennant classification with a slightly increased Quality Score of 86%.
